The Pink House is a LGBTI & PLWHA Health & Rights Project Started by FOKO Curacao Pride Foundation (LGBTI/GMSM) and is conducted in Participation with Cura+ Foundation (PLWHA) and Pink Youth Curacao (Young LGBTI)...

The Pink House is the FIRST OPEN & OUT multi-purpose center for LGBTI and PLWHA Emancipation, Information, Education, Counseling and Support in the Caribbean. Apart from that the Pink House offers Prevention materials like condoms and lube's including for GMSM (Gay men and other Men having Sex with Men) and female condoms, as well as counseling with referral to medical, psychological and social support services if needed. Also The Pink House continues a strong 16 year tradition of Human rights Advocacy for so called Vulnerable Communities (or Most At Risk Populations) in the HIV Pandemic like LGBTI people, People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and Sex Workers and others..

Staff consists of one Full Time Project and Counseling Coordinator with an energetic team of Volunteers. There is a strong need for a full-time Advocacy and Funding Officer to complement the job of the Coordinator, as well as training of volunteers in counseling, advocacy, event organizing and fundraising...

1. To strive for improved Physical, Psychological, Social and Spiritual Health of LGBTI/MSM/WSW people, providing Prevention information, education and materials, counseling and support.

2. To advocate for their -Equal- Rights and Recognition thereof in Society

3. To function as Pilot Project and Role Model for community supported Change on Health & Rights issues for Curacao in particular, and the Dutch Caribbean and the Wider Caribbean in general
