Rulings of local judges and relevant rulings with respect to tax law from the Supreme Court in The Hague form a further basis. We have offices on Curacao and Bonaire. Two islands that used to be part of the Netherlands Antilles. Currently the Kingdom of the Netherlands exists of the Netherlands (in Europe) and further of the countries of Curacao, St. Maarten and Aruba and the so-called BES-islands of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba. We are active in the Dutch Caribbean parts of the Kindom but of course with an emphasis on Curacao and Bonaire. The Caribbean is a very international environment. We are fluent in Dutch, English, Spanish, German and of course the local language Papiamento.

Toen ik in 2017 naar Curaçao kwam, koos ik Peter Muller als mijn belastingadviseur voor mijn privé- en zakelijke aangelegenheden. Na een jaar moest ik erachter komen dat hij vanaf het begin onzorgvuldig, onprofessioneel en onjuist had gewerkt. Het begon met het vergeten van afspraken en het simpelweg vernietigen van originele documenten. Toen ik de eerste boetes voor te late belastingaangifte van de belastingdienst kreeg en wat onderzoek deed, kwam er steeds meer wangedrag aan het licht, waaruit blijkt dat de heer Muller duidelijk geen echt goed gefundeerde kennis heeft van het belastingstelsel op Curaçao. Aan de ene kant was zijn aanvankelijke advies amateuristisch en fout, aan de andere kant kost het corrigeren van zijn vele fouten mij nu duizenden gulden aan bijbetalingen en extra kosten door een professionele belastingadviseur. Ik kan je alleen maar aanraden om uit de buurt van deze amateur te blijven.

Als ich 2017 nach Curaçao kam, wählte ich Peter Muller als meinen Steuerberater für meine privaten und geschäftlichen Angelegenheiten. Nach einem Jahr mußte ich leider feststellen, dass er von Anfang an nachlässig, unprofessionell und fehlerhaft gearbeitet hat. Das fing damit an, dass er Termine vergessen und Originalurkunden einfach vernichtet hat. Als mir dann vom Finanzamt die ersten Strafzahlungen für verspätete Steuererklärungen in Haus flatterten und ich etwas recherchierte, kamen mehr und mehr Verfehlungen zum Vorschein, die belegen, dass Herr Muller offensichtlich keine wirklich fundierte Ahnung von dem Steuersystem auf Curaçao hat. Zum einen war seine anfänglich Beratung dilettantisch und falsch und zum anderen kostet mich die Korrektur seiner vielen Fehler nun tausende von Gulden für Nachzahlungen und Zusatzkosten für eine professionelle Steuerberaterin. Ich kann Ihnen nur empfehlen einen großen Bogen um diesen Amateur zu machen.
