Of all the restaurants serving sushi and sashimi on Curaçao, Miramar is the only one with a real Japanese sushi chef: Tommy Ishida. He pays extreme attention to the proper preparation of the rice so it has just the right texture and taste. The fish is of the highest quality and often imported from Japan. Miramar serves sushi and sashimi in many mouth-watering varieties, like the beloved Miramar Roll with crab, salmon, tuna, eel and avocado.

Variety is the spice of life, which is why Miramar invites you to go beyond sushi and discover other tasty Japanese favorites like yosenabe, which is an earthenware pot filled with chicken, seafood, tofu, noodles and vegetables. Kampai! Japanese food and fine wines go together extremely well. Chef Tommy Ishida was a member of the Canadian Wine Club for many years and has put together a very balanced wine selection. Any dry white wine is great with sushi, while red wines are excellent with teriyaki dishes. Miramar also offers an exciting selection of sparkling wines. Our waiters will be happy to advise you on the best combinations.
