Founded in 1985, Jonka Enterprises N.V. began as a small garden tools & supply store owned and operated by Paul and Carie de Jong-Karg. Initially Jonka Enterprises N.V. represented and sold solely Gardena products -- a well-known German manufacturer of innovative quality gardening tools and watering systems. After three successful years of operation, Paul and Carie de Jong were obliged to move and to expand their business from a small store next to their house to a bigger and more accessible location in the area of Santa Rosa in order to serve their customers better.

Today, Jonka Tuincentrum (current trade name - which means Jonka garden center in Dutch) has grown into a business employing 10 plus employees. In addition to Gardena, nowadays, the company represents other quality brand products, selling from outdoor power equipment, gardening tools, watering and irrigation supplies, landscape and plant care products, insect and pest control to fountains, ponds and even swimming pools. They also have a Service Department that provides residential and commercial customers with all their irrigational and water-supply needs such as (deep well) pump, irrigation system installation, upgrading and repair; (monthly) maintenance services and advice on irrigation projects.

Though the family business has grown, we have remained passionately committed to tailor-made service, providing professional advice and support that help our customers have more pleasure and success in all their gardening goals and endeavor.
