GO WEST Diving (formerly known as Ocean Encounters West) is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development (IDC) Resort. We are located at one of Curaçao’s best dive sites, Alice in Wonderland, right on the idyllic sandy beach of Playa Kalki in Westpunt. The dive center offers the full range of PADI courses (up to Instructor Development Center Staff Instructor), quality rental equipment rental and an air/nitrox filling station.

Most of Curaçao’s top dive sites are only few minutes away from GO WEST Diving by boat or car. The average temperature of our clear Caribbean water is 28°C (82 F) year around, the average visibility is over 30 meters (100 feet).

Go West DivingThe GO WEST Diving house reef offers a rich combination of hard coral formations, sponges, tropical fish and a wide selection of colorful marine life. Turtles, rays, lobster, and morays are just some of the local inhabitants you’ll likely encounter.

Do not forget to visit our Neptune statue 10m/33ft down!! Since the beginning of 1997 Neptune has been keeping a watchful eye on all GO WEST Diving divers in the bay directly in front of All West Apartments...

We offer daily boat trips to sites which are hard to get to or impossible to reach from shore. Curaçao's most well-known dive site, Mushroom Forest, is on our schedule at least twice per week. The most northern dive site, Watamula, is only 5 minutes away by boat and offers spectacular healthy formations of hard corals, a soft coral-garden and a large variety of marine life.

Go West DivingOur boats are completely equipped for diving (VHF radio, Oxygen Kits, First Aid, life jackets and of course... Tanks :). Snorkeling guests are naturally welcome to participate in our twice weekly snorkel trips which takes you along the coast and into the underwater cave of Mushroom Forest, ‘The Blue Room’.

Off the coast of Curaçao you will find other notable shore diving sites like the "Car Pile" and the famous "Superior Producer" which offers you many opportunities to award your logbook a special note.

GO WEST Diving diving can also organize your trip to Klein Curaçao where you can make 2 boat dives, snorkel, enjoy a barbecue at the beach and ultimately relax in the sunon this small deserted island off Curaçao.
