Captain Gordo has been fishing since childhood. He was a frequent visitor of the Curacao Yacht Club and took every opportunity to fish with the older and experienced members to learn the tricks of the trade.

After a career in insurance and after having transformed tree old boats into as good as new fishing boats by the names of Papucho I, II and III, he decided to follow his dream to start his own charter business with the Papucho IV. With his experience and being a connoisseur of the conditions of the sea surrounding the island and the fish that live in these waters, he is certainly one of the most reliable providers of deep sea fishing trips.

He has won various major fishing tournaments in Curaçao and the region, most recently the prestigious Presidential Challenge Central America: THHE 2011 CHIVAS REGAL ARUBA CARIBBEAN CUP. This young and enthousiastic captain will do whatever it takes to land you a trophy catch and to give you the time of your life!

He speaks English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamentu fluently.
